Exclusive Interview: Joe Baldassare and Bill Bartek, 6th Team Eliminated for The Amazing Race All-St
Life Partners Joe Baldassare and Bill Bartek, whom viewers have come to know as “Team Guido,” may have been the 6th team to be eliminated from The Amazing Race: All Stars, but the couple has no problem returning to their old life in Southern California. Joe expressed his gratitude for being part of the competition not just once, but twice. He also said that he and Joe are pretty satisfied about their involvement in various works of charity.
Fans of The Amazing Race first saw Joe and Bill during the show’s first season. Joe, a Minerals Trading Company owner from Niguel, California, and Bill, a realtor also from Niguel, California, were able to beat many of their competitors during their first attempt to win the Race. They are, undoubtedly, one of the sneakiest and most sly couples, having hatched numerous strategies in order to get ahead of the rest. Ultimately, Joe and Bill came out in third place, and having come so close to winning the $ 1 million cash prize, Joe and Bill greatly hoped that the show would ask them to participate again should there be an all-star season.
Fortunately for Joe and Bill, all their waiting paid off and when the shows’ producers called them and extended them an invite, Joe and Bill jumped at another chance to capture the prize money, believing that the money would guarantee them a free ride for the rest of their lives. Still, winning a large amount of money from a reality television series must not be meant for Joe and Bill, as they eliminated after the eighth leg of the race. Although they arrived 5th (despite being detained at the Kilimanjaro airport for a significant amount of time), the couple incurred a 30-minute penalty for not arriving first at the pit stop. Because Eric & Danielle arrived before the penalty was up, Joe and Bill were forced to accept defeat.

Heroes' Greg Grunberg Involved In Charitable Work
Many celebrities today have chosen to use their high status as a means to raise awareness about different social and political issues that are close to their hearts. One such celebrity is Greg Grunberg, who portrays police officer Matt Parkman on NBC’s hit television series, Heroes.
Grunberg, whose popularity grew due to his work on the television drama series, Felicity, has decided to become a hero in and out of the small screen by leading the Epilepsy Foundation walk, which was held late last March. He chose to take part in the event mainly because his own child, Jake, is one of the many people around the world who have been stricken with the difficult condition. However, Grunberg has said that Jake is more than capable of engaging in regular activities and, more notably, has taken a more active role in educating others about the truth behind his condition.
Epilepsy, or what is also sometimes known as a seizure disorder, is a neurological condition that is made most problematic by the series of random epileptic seizures. Studies have shown that around 50 million people from all over the world are affected by epilepsy. Although the condition is incurable, it can be controlled with the help of medication, and sometimes even surgery.
Aside from his involvement in the Epilepsy Foundation Walk, Grunberg has also tried to raise money for the Pediatric Epilepsy Project (PEP) by selling works of art accomplished by his fellow Heroes cast members. Grunberg is the organization’s celebrity sponsor and was the host of the online art auction, which featured the self-portraits of the different Heroes characters. As can be seen on the PEP’s official website, the organization “was formed with a single, all-important mission: to raise funds, provide financial support and increase community awareness to help sustain the Division of Pediatric Neurology at UCLA.”

24: Day 6 10PM-11PM Recap
24’s Day 6 10PM-11PM is deemed by fans as one of the most exciting episodes of the season, featuring hardcore action and mind-boggling twists.
The said episode of 24, which aired Monday, April 9, features the nuke as it approaches the Middle East as a form of vengeance for a prior detonation in Los Angeles, California. The hasty decision of Wayne Palmer surprised Karen Hayes and Thomas Lennox. Subsequently, Karen seeks the help of CTU, remaining positive that they have found Fayed the necessary information that might change Palmer’s decision.
Later, Palmer receives a call from the foreign ambassador, informing Palmer that they have a man named General Habib in custody who is involved with the previous attacks. This prompts Palmer to call off the bomb attack. At this point, viewers discover Palmer’s trickery in order to stimulate the make-believe missile. At the closing of the episode, Palmer falls down to the ground following a positive discussion with Thomas Lennox.
As for Jack, he has Fayed under custody. However, Jack’s brutal interrogation has not effectively persuaded Fayed to give out any information. This leaves Jack no choice but to bring Fayed back to headquarters. While in transit, Jack, Doyle and Fayed smashed into an approaching van, which consists of Arabs who are determined to rescue Fayed.
A shootout happens and unfortunately, Jack gets injured.
While everything seems so exciting, the real attention-grabbing plot is still approaching. So far, everything that happened was just a set-up. After Jack gets injured, he plays dead for a short while, as well as everyone else. CTU sends in a counterfeit rescuer team to get Fayed, expecting that Fayed would direct them to the remaining two suitcase nukes. Subsequently, the "rescuers" attempts to get some information out of Fayed, but Fayed is determined to reveal the location only after he has spoken to General Habib.
After some grave threats on the lives of his family, Habib cooperates, ordering Fayed to locate the nukes. Fayed gives out the directions while CTU follows. However, Nadia discovers something suspicious in the phone transcript. After a series of rumble, attacks and shootouts, Fayed ends up dead while everyone celebrates as they discovered the bombs.
In the end, Jack receives a phone call from Audrey Raines, telling him to save her. Shortly, a Chinese guy orders Jack to call him at a certain number in ten minutes, declaring that Audrey will die if Jack tells anyone about the call.
To catch more twists and action, watch 24 every Mondays at 9/8C on Fox.
